The TRUMPF Standard Die is the passive shearing interface of the TRUMPF tooling system, designed to provide the meticulously calibrated aperture through which the punch executes the material separation. It represents the unmoving anchor of the cutting process.

A Trumpf-style standard die is the stationary lower component of the punching system. Unlike Thick Turret dies, which are often large cylinders, Trumpf dies are typically flat, disc-like plates (Size 1 or Size 2) that sit inside a die holder or cartridge.

Featuring a 'Double-Cut' or conical relief design, it is engineered to ensure positive slug evacuation and prevent 'slug pulling.' The die is precision-ground for perfect concentricity with the punch, maintaining a consistent cutting clearance (typically1/4° back taper) to reduce friction and eliminate material galling during high-speed production

Material: High-performance HSS or Chrome-alloyed steel.
